Remarkable Care For The Ones You Love
Mike Wood: Therapy Director at Parkway Health Center
You may recognize Mike the moment you see his face. He is a Springville native whose roots drew him and his family back to Utah after several years in California. Mike has been a Physical Therapist for 20 years, most recently working in many Skilled Nursing Facilities throughout Utah Valley as well as being co-owner of Agility Physical Therapy in Pleasant Grove. Mike understands the individual needs of those who come to a Skilled Nursing Facility to rehabilitate before returning home and will customize each persons care plan to fit their needs.
Mike attended school at Brigham Young University and Cal State Northridge where he received 2 degrees, one in Health Education and the other in Physical Therapy. Mike and his wife of 23 years, Mary, have 4 children and 2 grandchildren. They live in the home that Mike’s great-grandfather built in Springville and he enjoys basketball (yes, he roots for the Jazz!) and anything outdoors.
Mike is thrilled to be a part of the Parkway team and plans on making the therapy department “shine as much as the other departments at Parkway.” His vision in to have people enjoy the therapies as they progress to their highest level of functioning possible and then return home. Mike will be involved full time with Parkway Health Center to serve the needs of those who come for rehabilitation as well as providing restorative therapies for those who make Parkway their home.
